P Flannery Plant Hire first in the queue for the Dual View Trucks

TJC Sales Ltd has completed a significant order for the new Wacker Neuson DV60 and DV90 Dual View Trucks from P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd. The hire company was the first to place its order with TJC Sales last year following the launch of the new machines at Hillhead 2018.

P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd, a long-standing customer of TJC Sales, is now in receipt of a brand-new fleet of Dual View Trucks demonstrating its commitment to the operator and construction site safety. The Dual View Truck exceeds safety standards and has recently been awarded the Plantworx 2019 Gold Award for Safety Innovation.

The Dual View Truck allows the operator to conveniently and quickly change the seat position through a 180-degree rotation of the entire operating and seat console. Because the machine can be driven both ways, it reduces the need to reverse on site and the operator has full visibility during transportation, loading and unloading.

The Wacker Neuson DV model series comes with many features as standard: rear camera, air con, full road light kit, green seat belt beacon, hi-vis steps and grab rails. In addition, TJC Sales has retrofitted Flannery’s machines with front cameras, collision avoidance systems, auto lube automated greasing systems, track unit asset management and smart operation telematics.

“P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) is one of the largest providers of operated and self-drive plant in the UK. They immediately recognised the superior safety standards of the Dual View Trucks and were the first to place an order with TJC Sales. We are delighted that we could fulfil every aspect of this order right down to branding each of the machines in Flannery’s livery,” confirms Colin Moss, Sales Director, TJC Sales.

All of the machines have now been delivered. Patrick Flannery, Managing Director, P Flannery Plant Hire (Oval) comments;
“We aspire to lead the way in the equipment hire industry and feel strongly that the best way to do this is keep people safe and embrace innovation and change as it comes along. We are committed to phasing out forward tipping larger dumpers and see this innovation as the start of that process.”

Buxted Construction Ltd adds a few extras to create the perfect dumper

TJC Sales Ltd has retrofitted and delivered six Wacker Neuson DW90 cabbed dumpers for Buxted Construction Ltd. The wheel dumpers which already have many features as standard has been fitted with several components to a remarkably high specification.

Buxted Construction Ltd, who are a leading contractor for groundworks, infrastructure and civil engineering, wanted to ensure each machine provided them with a sustainable and versatile solution. TJC Sales were asked to fit several pieces of equipment such as tow hitch and an autolube system to guarantee a longer component life.

Extra equipment was also added to improve onsite visibility and operator safety.  TJC Sales were asked to fit a radar and a rear-view camera; a bespoke guard was also built to protect this important safety feature. To create a safe environment for its operators Buxted specified that each dumper also needed to be fitted with an operator frame, a debris guard and a green seat belt beacon.

TJC Sales successfully retrofitted all six wheel dumpers within the given timeframe. During this period all the machine were also sign written with the Buxted Construction Ltd brand. The last of the DW90 cabbed dumpers has now been delivered and the other five are already in operation at various construction sites.

HIDROMEK ticked all the boxes for Wordingham Plant Hire

Wordingham Plant Hire has been providing plant equipment to the construction industry for over 25 years. They are renowned in Norfolk for their quality plant equipment which includes a large range of diggers.

As part of their business development strategy, the company attended PLANTWORX in June 2017 to see all the latest innovations in action. Peter and Andy Wordingham were particularly interested in sourcing either a CASE or a JCB to enhance their growing fleet of plant equipment.

As they were walking around they spotted the HIDROMEK brand and were immediately attracted to the colour scheme, so they made their way over to the TJC stand. On the stand Peter and Andy watched a live demonstration of the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA and could see the build quality was on a par with, if not better than, other backhoes on the market.

On closer inspection they also noticed that SERVO controls came as standard which was a major plus point because many of their drivers who are excellent 360° drivers were not as good on the 180° controls. The price was also competitive which again was another bonus:

“It ticked all the boxes for us on price, good build quality and comfort. The Servo controls as standard were a massive plus. The other great thing was that their branding fitted perfectly with our own corporate colours which was an unexpected bonus,” said Peter Wordingham.

Not having heard of HIDROMEK or TJC before, first impressions were particularly important. Both Peter and Andy Wordingham were very happy that the TJC Sales team were informative and easy to talk to. They were also filled with confidence when Richard White, Managing Director of TJC Sales followed up their initial enquiry about the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA with a one-to-one meeting at their premises.

Wordingham Plant Hire has now acquired two of the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA machines and the word has already started to spread to their customers. It is expected that the machines will be used for all aspects of construction work from footings, trenches, highways work and patching tarmac.

Within weeks of their arrival the backhoes were out on hire. Peter Wordingham is delighted with the feedback:

“Everyone so far seems to be very impressed with the capabilities of these machines. We look forward to giving them more challenges to see what they can do but we feel very confident that the HMK 102B SUPRA is the machine for the job.”

HIDROMEK sales hit new highs since Plantworx

TJC Sales Ltd is reporting an increase of sales of HIDROMEK machines since exhibiting at Plantworx 2017 in June. The show resulted in five sales and two long term hire agreements for TJC Sales Ltd, a UK dealer for HIDROMEK.

Interested parties who witnessed the superb performance of the HMK 102B SUPRA, HMK140LC and HMK 220LC Gen Series at TJC Sales’ award-winning stand at Plantworx have now become proud owners of the Turkish manufactured machinery. This was the first time TJC Sales had exhibited the plant equipment at the show and despite the weather came away with a long list of potential customers.

Profusion Environmental who specialise in the construction of golf courses and sport facilities were particularly impressed with the HMK 140LC excavator and ended up buying two of the machines. Nigel Wyatt, Director of Profusion Environmental, explains why they chose HIDROMEK:

“What really impressed me about HIDROMEK was their willingness to accommodate our specification for a steel wrist attachment on the HMK 140LC which we require for golf bunker renovations. TJC Sales Ltd and HIDROMEK arranged for my senior operator and myself to try out the machine with this attachment in Sweden where it is commonly used. My senior operator gave the machine a ‘big thumbs up’ hence we have now purchased two of the excavators.”

Enquires about the HMK 102B SUPRA Backhoe Loader have also increased since the show. Customers have been impressed with the superior performance of the front loader and its durable boom construction. Peter and Andy Wordingham from Wordingham Plant Hire Ltd, who are renowned in Norfolk for their range of quality plant equipment, have now acquired two of the machines:

“What attracted us to the HIDROMEK was the colour scheme; it caught our eye and got us over to the stand at Plantworx. We could see the build quality was on par if not better than other backhoes on the market. Also, when we noticed that SERVO controls came as standard, this was another major plus as we have many drivers who are excellent 360° drivers but are not as good on the 180° controls. The price was also very competitive and the TJC Sales team very easy to get along with which filled us with confidence.”

Other sales included the acquisition of an HMK 220LC Gen Series by RB Haigh, a major supplier of readymix concrete for both commercial and domestic applications. In addition, two long term hire agreements are now in place for an HMK 220LC and HMK 140LC.

Richard White, Managing Director of TJC Sales, is delighted with the take up of interest:
“The brand HIDROMEK is now firmly on the map when it comes to plant sales. These machines offer such a high standard of performance and efficiency they never fail to impress their audience.”

Award winning stand at Plantworx 2017

TJC Sales Ltd has been awarded ‘Best Outdoor Static Stand’ at this year’s Plantworx. The stand featured fresh flower displays, a luxury log cabin and comfortable seating areas for visitors to enjoy while viewing the HIDROMEK machinery.

The judging process was led by Nicholas Coleman, Director of Fuchsia Exhibition Services who were the main sponsor of the Best Indoor Stand and Best Outdoor Stand awards. Plantworx sales manager Angela Spink and Plantworx operations director, Simon Frere-Cook, also helped with the judging process and accompanied Nicholas Coleman in his quest to find the best-looking static stands in the showground.
