HIDROMEK ticked all the boxes for Wordingham Plant Hire

Wordingham Plant Hire has been providing plant equipment to the construction industry for over 25 years. They are renowned in Norfolk for their quality plant equipment which includes a large range of diggers.

As part of their business development strategy, the company attended PLANTWORX in June 2017 to see all the latest innovations in action. Peter and Andy Wordingham were particularly interested in sourcing either a CASE or a JCB to enhance their growing fleet of plant equipment.

As they were walking around they spotted the HIDROMEK brand and were immediately attracted to the colour scheme, so they made their way over to the TJC stand. On the stand Peter and Andy watched a live demonstration of the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA and could see the build quality was on a par with, if not better than, other backhoes on the market.

On closer inspection they also noticed that SERVO controls came as standard which was a major plus point because many of their drivers who are excellent 360° drivers were not as good on the 180° controls. The price was also competitive which again was another bonus:

“It ticked all the boxes for us on price, good build quality and comfort. The Servo controls as standard were a massive plus. The other great thing was that their branding fitted perfectly with our own corporate colours which was an unexpected bonus,” said Peter Wordingham.

Not having heard of HIDROMEK or TJC before, first impressions were particularly important. Both Peter and Andy Wordingham were very happy that the TJC Sales team were informative and easy to talk to. They were also filled with confidence when Richard White, Managing Director of TJC Sales followed up their initial enquiry about the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA with a one-to-one meeting at their premises.

Wordingham Plant Hire has now acquired two of the HIDROMEK 102B SUPRA machines and the word has already started to spread to their customers. It is expected that the machines will be used for all aspects of construction work from footings, trenches, highways work and patching tarmac.

Within weeks of their arrival the backhoes were out on hire. Peter Wordingham is delighted with the feedback:

“Everyone so far seems to be very impressed with the capabilities of these machines. We look forward to giving them more challenges to see what they can do but we feel very confident that the HMK 102B SUPRA is the machine for the job.”
